A plain-language summary of what Onward collects and who can see it.

Who can see your tasks

Only you. Your tasks, times, places, and energy data live in a database row scoped to your account and enforced by row-level security — every request, whether from the app or the AI agent, carries your account's credentials, and the database itself refuses to return another account's rows. Nobody on the Onward team browses your task content.

Your account

Signing in requires a real account (Google sign-in) — there's no anonymous mode that quietly starts storing data before you've agreed to anything.

Analytics

This marketing site uses aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics and PostHog) to understand which pages people visit — never your task content, which lives in the app, not on this site.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't share your task content with third parties.

Taking your data with you

Your tasks are yours. There's no self-serve export button yet, but your data sits in a plain, standard database, not a proprietary format — email hello@onward.today and we'll send you a full copy. That holds even if Onward's one-person development ever slows down or stops — your data was never locked to us staying online.
